Brush Removal

South side of house.

Zucker, my cheering section :).

I spent two days removing red elderberry bushes that had taken over the side of the house.  I like red elderberry (different from purple) but we live in the boondocks and they can grow anywhere but my yard thank you.  The birds absolutely love them which is why I let them go until now.  But now it is time to cut them out and get them gone.

This is where I want to have my shade garden.  There is a line of pines behind me in the photo and once the dead branches are cut from the trees it will make for a nice area.
